What happens on the net

Maintain friendships
Stations from all around have been checking into the net since it began and new stations from new areas are joining all the time. You never know from where you'll hear a new check in!
Test your station
You never know when you'll need to be able to reach out to the surrounding area where you live so ensure that your gear is always working by using it to participate on the net.
Enjoy the community
The net members are good old boys who come together to share their hobby after the hustle and bustle of western life.

The net meets every week day on 3923.5kc. Roster is called by location to facilitate a quick net and handle messages to/from specific areas.

+ Join

All amateur radio stations are welcome to join the net. You must check in 5 times in a month and then notify a NCS when you qualify. This is an honor system.

+ Improve

Use the structure of the net to improve your antenna system so you can hear check ins from all locations and in all conditions.

+ Contribute

Every member can act as a relay for other stations when conditions are rough. If you hear a station not recognized, please call out "relay" and follow the NCS instructions.
